In collaboration with Sailing Innovation Centre, a foundation that supports the Dutch watersport association, WEEV Textiles is developing a cut-resistant suit to protect athletes.

In collaboration with Sailing Innovation Centre, in addition to the cut-resistant water sports suit, we are also working on a multi-purpose Buff. Demand for safety equipment for water sports has increased due to recent news reports about the dangers, raising awareness of the need for protection.

Therefore, a cut-resistant Buff has been developed to protect athletes’ necks. Originally designed at the request of water sports enthusiasts, this Buff is also suitable for other sports. Made of high-quality material, the Buff offers extra protection against potential XXXX.

Sailing suit

In collaboration with Sailing Innovation Centre, which supports the Dutch water sports association, we have developed a cut-resistant water sports suit.

The sailing suit offers both protection and flexibility, crucial for the safety of water sports enthusiasts. With this project, we can provide safety for all types of water sports thanks to their innovative fabrics.

Project details

This project is carried out in collaboration with Menadena, a partner who shares our commitment to sustainability. Together, we are combating the environmental impact of traditional sportswear. By introducing clothing that improves both athletic performance and the health of our planet.

Starting small, but thinking big we will start by testing different combinations of environmentally friendly materials to ensure durability and performance. Then, we move on to prototyping and gather valuable feedback from focus user groups. This iterative process allows us to refine our products before they go into production, ensuring that we deliver the best possible gear to our customers.
